It's my favourite look and I keep returning to it. High waisted black and white tartan mini, long black above-the-knee socks, black lace-up school shoes. Great combination.

I love this simple smock dress in heavy cotton. It's gathered at the waist but really comfortable. Looking for alternatives to my favourite white ankle socks I have tried black hold ups in the past. This time I've gone for long above-the-knee socks in black with ankle boots.

FLORAL SUMMER DRESS

 

This floaty, floral dress buttons down the front. Perfect for those steamy days when I can undo as many buttons at the top and bottom as I dare. Right now those steamy days seem a long way off as we endure the coldest April for years.
